The first of its kind, a unique bespoke collaborative course by Josh Lamonaca and Kevin Luchmun presents…. The Creative Capture Course.

This is a one day course designed for individuals who want to gain experience in how to put a collection together and push their boundaries of creativity. 

Together both Josh Lamonaca and Kevin Luchmun have world wide experience teaching all levels of students and NOW is your chance to work side by side with the two industry icons. 

 

How does it work?

Simply book your space on the course, begin the search for a great model. Once the course is sold out we will arrange a ZOOM conference call lead by Josh Lamonaca and Kevin Luchmun. This Zoom conference call will require 30 minutes and will be the preparation needed in order to join the course so you may be prepared for what to expect and achieve on the day. After the ZOOM call, you will have enough time to put your mood board together to share with us on the day. 

 

What will i learn?

On this course you will learn how to organise, conduct and execute a photo shoot collection by understanding the key principles that are required to bring you great results. On the day you will be pre prepped by the ZOOM call in order to build your ideas and share them with the class. You will discover what it takes to achieve eye capturing shots in front of the camera that produce timeless imagery. You will have the chance to learn all about the visual perception of hair through its entire editorial process, challenging your eye to not only see the perfect style but the perfect picture. 

 

Do i have to bring my own model?

On the day you are required to bring ONE model. The model is required also to bring 2 outfits to capitalise on the content. Its up to your based upon the style you want to achieve to select your model, but we do suggest the model to be professional or at least good hair, skin and a photogenic nature.

 

Im not from the UK or local or Im struggling to find a good model, but still want to join this course?

Ive never made a mood board, can i still join the course?

Of course! So during the ZOOM call we will prepare you with what a mood board is and how to plan one so you have time before the course begins to put one together and present it on the day of the course.

 

 I have never presented anything before, I'm shy but i really want to do this course…?

Thats ok we understand, we can simply take a look at your mood board collectively and discuss your ideas on the day lead by Josh Lamonaca and Kevin Luchmun. 

 

Do i need my equipment?

On the day you will need your equipment. All haircare products will be supplied by MENSPIRE. 

 

How and when will i get my images from the course?

Based on the level of edit will depend on the return time however we expect a 2-3 week turnaround time. Kevin will supply these to all students via their email of booking.

10:30am Demonstration with Josh Lamonaca

( Visual demonstration showing the latest in mens hair and what to consider when preparing a model for a photoshoot )

 

11:30am - Shooting with Kevin Luchmun 

( In the studio with the model complete showcasing a variation of styles, lighting and angles) 

 

12:30pm - 

Mood Board Presentation by the students

( A digital or physical presentation of the students mood boards to be presented)

   

1:15PM - Lunch Break 

 

14:30AM - Practical session with Josh Lamonaca & MENSPIRE Education.

( Hands on practical class, guided step by step from the educators)

 

16:00PM - Shooting with Kevin Luchmun 

( Time for the models to get shot in the MENSPIRE Studios)

  

17:30 Course overview 

( Questions and Answers, reviewing the selected photos from the day )
